First Bloom

While my mom was visiting after I had Chase she and the girls planted some bulbs for me in my backyard. The first one bloomed today and it is so pretty. The picture I took to email her turned out so good I thought I would post. This is a stargazer lily. These are the flowers I carried in my wedding bouquet. They are one of my favorites. I can't wait for the rest. We planted 3 different kinds. I just need to figure out a way to keep the girls from picking them. They LOVE picking flowers especially weed flowers and bring them to me. These are so much prettier they will definitely want to pick these for me.
