Our Gingerbread House

The girls and I built a Gingerbread house tonight. It was amazing that we had this much candy that actually made it on the house. Every time I looked at them they had put another handful of candy in their mouth. A few pieces on the house may have been in Paige's mouth first so I would eat at your own risk. ( Maybe we should tell Daddy? Nah!!)

Breakfast with Santa

We went to a hotel on the lake with a group of friends where we got to eat breakfast with Santa. They had a balloon artist. Emma's balloon is Ariel The Little Mermaid and Paige's is a teddy bear. They also had cookie decorating and ornament making. We then had a brunch buffet and Santa and two of his elves went around visiting all of the tables. They also offered Sleigh rides but it was cold and snowing so we passed on that. On the way home we stopped at the mall for the annual visit to Santa. The girls love him and can't wait until Christmas.

Ice Skating

We took the kids ice skating the other night. I didn't skate just took pictures and froze. Alex took both girls out on the ice. This was their first time. They gave them these walkers to practice going around the rink. Emma had a blast but found it a lot more difficult then she thought it would be. Paige was fearless. She just took off and left Alex and Emma trailing behind her. after a little while she didn't even want the walker anymore. Maybe I should sign this kid up for lessons.

This is a short video I took with my camera. It turned out pretty cute.

Going away dinner

A bunch of my friends that I made here in Wisconsin took me to The Melting Pot for a going away dinner. It was a fun evening and the food was yummy. One good thing about being 8 months pregnant is I didn't feel quite so guilty about all the cheese and chocolate fondue I ate.

Emma's Preschool Christmas Program

This is Emma and her friend Alina. This Emma her teacher Miss Carol and her fiend Natalie.
This is her singing Christmas songs.
After her program they served refreshments the kids had made. I passed on the cookies they decorated. I am not sure about a bunch of 4 years all touching the cookies I eat but they looked really cute.

Playing in the snow

The girls love playing in the snow. We figure let them play as much as they can before we move to Texas after Christmas. Last year Alex and I helped make a giant snowman because the girls wanted one so bad but they didn't help very much. This year we told them to try to make one themselves. Alex helped them stack the body but they did most of the work themselves. That would be the reason why the mouth looks more like a necklace and Paige added some extra snowballs to his head. He is also a lot smaller so they could reach him.
