Paige's New Big Girl Bed

Paige got a new bed over the weekend.
She was very excited. A little too excited as she
keeps getting out of it. She loves jumping on
it too. She has been going to bed late and
waking up early. It caught up with her
today as she fell asleep eating her lunch today.

Door County, Wisconsin Home to the famous Door County Cherries

We went to AL Johnsons's Swedish
Restaurant for breakfast. We were told they
Had the best pancakes. They were right. They were
awesome. They had grass growing on the roof
and there were goats on the roof eating the grass.
The girls thought this was pretty cool.

We saw some people with some awesome
looking ice cream comes so we stopped and
found the shop. The line was so long so that must mean
it was good. Well the wait was worth it. They were so
yummy and HUGE. The girls made an enormous
mess. After awhile it was melting so bad and getting all over them
that we had to convert their cones to cups.

We stopped at a winery and cherry shop.
Alex tatse tested some Cherry wines that were
made there locally and the girls and I checked
out the cherry trees and tried a variety of
cherry items in the store. We tried 3 kinds
of cherries, cherry salsa, cherry jam, cherry juice
and cherry dip. All were very good.

This is us in front of the beach on Green bay
which is part of Lake Michigan.

This is our trailer. We went camping for the weekend up in Door
County, Wisconsin. Door County is famous for Cherries and is
a strip of small quaint towns with lots of cool shops,
farmers markets, wineries, beaches and restaurants.
If you look at the map of Wisconsin, Door County is the thumb.
We spent the weekend driving from town to town checking out
all of the cute towns. We wished we had more time.
