Trip to Chicago

This is standing in front of the pizza place
Giordano's that we went to for Father's Day!
It had the yummiest pizza. Real Chicago style.

We took the girls to the Shedd Aquarium.

These are taken on the Navy Pier with the
Chicago skyline in the background.

Our friends Jeff and Rachel were visiting family

while we were there so we met up with them

on Saturday night. It was great to get together.

This in the kiddie train on the Navy Pier.

The Ferris Wheel on the Navy Pier.

This is Emma and I being crazy at
dinner at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

My mom is in town visiting so we took her to Chicago this past weekend. We live about 2 1/2 hours from Chicago. We had a lot of fun. We stayed downtown so we could walk everywhere.

Emma's Dance Recital

Emma's dance recital was this past weekend. She was a poodle. There were 19 poddles in her class. Funny thing was no two poodles were doing the same dance. It was too funny! They each just did there own thing out there. It was pretty cute.

Emma's haircut

So we decided to cut Emma's hair. It was so long that she would cry every time we brushed it because the ends would get so tangled. We had 6 inches cut off. She started to cry at first because she thought she couldn't be a princess anymore without super long hair. She plays dress up everyday and is always some kind of princess so this was very concerning to her. She made it through okay. The only problem is that the girl who cut it was new and when we got home last night I noticed she cut it very crooked. I think I am going to take her back today and get it fixed. They will probably have to cut more off to fix it which Emma's isn't going to be very happy about.

Paige is so hip.

I bought the girls some hats and sunglasses for the summer. Paige put hers on herself. The hat is on sideways and the sunglasses are upside down. She looks like a rapper in the second picture.
