Paige's First Haircut

We went to Jamba Juice when they were done and they loved to show off their new do's.

Paige was born bald and it took her sooooooo long to get hair that we have never cut it. Well it is pretty uneven and so I decided to get her haircut yesterday. We have a cute girly place here called "Sweet and Sassy". It is very similar to "Girly Girlz" in Mesa. It is a very cute place and they cut girls hair. She was very excited. When they were done they fixed her hair and the sprayed glitter in it. She thought this was so cool. We cut Emma's hair while we were there too. We cut 4 inches of of Emma's.

Trying out the Bumbo

We tried out the Bumbo yesterday with Chase. He likes sitting in it but keeps looking up at the ceiling fans and I am not sure I like his neck doing that so I will have to keep trying him in it until he gets the hang of it.

Last Day

My niece is really into gymnastics and was showing us her handstand.

On our last day we went to the Arizona Grand Resort (Formally the Pointe at South Mountain). They have a cool water park and Alex's brother and his family came down from Flagstaff to see us and were staying there. The kids had so much fun with their cousins!

Holly and Heather's Birthday

We went out to dinner to celebrate Holly and Heather's birthday.
We went to Oregano's. Another one of my favorites. I LOVE
the pizookie. We missed Holly B. who wasn't feeling well
and couldn't come. They are all coming to visit in June and I
am really excited!

Paige's 3rd Birthday Party

All worn out!!!! What a fun day! My dad and Chase
My brother Dale and Alex flying
a remote control airplane and sending
Emma to fetch when it would crash.

Paige, Carol and Sage (Summer's daughter)

My Aunt Cindi
Carol Jackson (Summer's mom)
Alex's mom Judy
We celebrated Paige' 3rd Birthday at Freestone Park in Gilbert, AZ. We got to see a lot of family and friends. It was also the first time a lot of our family and friends got to meet Chase. It is hard not living so close but it is fun when we come to visit. The girls had a blast and if you look at the top picture you can see how worn out they were. We carried them in from the truck and they did not move and inch for over 4 hours. This also made it hard for them to go back to sleep that night.

More AZ Fun

We went to dinner with our friends Jeff and Rachel. Alex
and Jeff are good friends from ASU and Alex used to work
with Rachel at Chili's. Alex likes to take the credit for introducing these two.
They are expecting their first baby this June. We are very excited for them.

AZ Continued: Tia Rosas

After Tia Rosa's we went to visit my Grandpa.
When we got home Emma was playing with the makeup my
mom got her and fell asleep. Notice the beautiful blue eyeshadow.

My favorite food is Mexican food. While we didn't have much in Wisconsin we do have a lot here in Texas. The difference is that it is all Tex Mex here. I guess growing up in AZ I became accustomed to a particular kind of Mexican food. Tia Rosas and Rosa's (The original Rosa's) are my favorite. They have the best chicken enchiladas ever!!! I make it a point to always hit that place when I come back home.
