Soccer Days

After the game is over all the parents made a tunnel for the kids to go through as they got their name announced. Emma as the goalie
Love how Paige has her hair tucked in her sunglasses. At least she had the right side up. She usually wears them upside down on purpose because they stay on better.

Emma started soccer yesterday and Alex is the coach of her team. Their team is called the Blue Thunder. In this league they do not keep score and they promote team spirit and fun and to teach the basics of soccer. Even though they didn't keep score our team made 5 goals and the other team didn't make any. Emma even made one. They were so cute. Alex is such a good coach. There were two players having a hard time and crying and he would do whatever he could to get them motivated. He even held one girls hand and ran with with her the whole time to get her to play. I was so proud of him. The other coach was yelling and telling his team to take our kids out and was so competitive and it got him no where. Go Blue Thunder!!!!

Family Pizza Night

Last Sunday we made homemade pizzas. Alex worked at a pizza place in high school and considers himself a pizza expert. The girls loved making their own. Emma's had three layers of cheese and pepperonis and one olive and Paige's had cheese, olives and tomatoes. It was something fun we could all together and everyone was happy with the toppings since they got to pick their own.

Fall Festival

I joined a MOMS group when I moved to Texas to try to meet some people and make some new friends. This group does a lot of fun things for kids and families. Last week we had a Fall Festival at the park where we had games, food, goodie bags and tons of kids to play with. The girls had a blast.

Pumpkin Patch

We took the kids to the Pumpkin patch on Sunday with some of our neighbors. The kids had a blast. It was a little hot but still a great time. This pumpkin patch was pretty small and nothing like the one we went to in Wisconsin which I still think was the coolest one we have ever been too. We went on a train ride, hay ride, blow up slides, duck races and played in the hay stacks and pumpkins. Chase got his first taste of pumpkins, literally. Every time we put him down he would try to suck or bite on the pumpkins or grab pieces of hay and stick them in his mouth.
