Fancy Nancy
My girls favorite books are the Fancy Nancy Books. For anyone that has little girly girls like me they are great books. Well in the book the little girl wants her family to dress up fancy and go out to dinner. My birthday was on Easter Sunday so we decided to celebrate the night before and Emma wanted to dress up fancy for dinner. Alex had just got home from a business trip in Taiwan that morning and brought the girls home Chinese sandals and fans and we already had the Chinese dresses that I bought from American Girl. Everywhere we went that night people commented on how cute they looked. I may be biased but I have to agree.

Going through the star tunnels.

Reading the map
My cousin Jenny lives in Austin, TX which is about a 3 hour drive from us. Her daughter turned 3 last week and we went to her birthday party on Saturday. Lily and Paige are only a few weeks apart in age. Paige turns 3 on April 14th. Lily had a Dora Adventure party. It was really cute. The kids were all given fanny packs with binoculars, a magnifying glass, friendship bracelets, and flash lights. They were given maps to try to find the pinata. They first had to cross rainbow bridge and then go through the star tunnels to get to the pinata. The girls had a blast. My cousin also has a little girl named Madeline that turned one this past Christmas Eve and is pregnant with a little boy due in June. It will be fun to have some family closer to us and fun that we both have two girls and a little boy.
Rodeo Day
The Houston Rodeo is here in town for the next few weeks which is a big deal around here. Most of the schools for younger children have rodeo day the Friday it starts. Emma got to dress up and they did barrel races, learn to lasso and various things that have to do with a rodeo. They made these cute stick horses.

Chase is 1 Month
Chase turned 1 month this past Saturday. We took the kids to Picture People to get their pictures done. They turned out okay. They were not my favorite but good enough. Hopefully at his 3 month picture he will be able to smile and we will get better pictures. They didn't change backgrounds or very many poses and the outfit choice I made looked cute on him but in the pictures made him look like a little old man. The pictures I posted say Zazzle on them because they are copyrighted. The pictures I took myself for his announcement turned out much cuter in my opinion. My dad is in town and he bought the kids all Harley Davidson shirts and I took their picture with him in my front yard and they turned out pretty cute.
