IT'S A BABY BOY

We had our 20 week ultrasound today and it was confirmed

that we are having a little boy. The pictures turned out

pretty good. We are very excited. Emma and Paige are

excited to have a brother. The first one is the profile.This one shows the male part sticking out between the thighs.

It is the part with the arrow pointing to it.
Here is his face with his hand resting on his

Emma's Birthday

Emma's real birthday was this past Monday. Her

preschool teacher made her a special crown to

wear during class and she took cupcakes for all

her friends. That night we went Chili's for dinner

and then took her and Paige to Chuck E Cheeses for an

hour to play. My kids (including Daddy) love playing

games.

to go to Picture People to get their pictures taken.

Emma's 4th Birthday Party

Emma had her 4th Birthday party this past

Saturday. We had her party at the Gymnastics

Center where she takes lessons at. They got to

jump on the trampolines, play on the mats, they had a

foam pit they can jump in, they even had a zip line

they hold on to and they get sent across it and then land

in the foam pit. She invited her friends from preschool.

She had so much fun.

Emma's First Day of Preschool

Yesterday was Emma's first day of Preschool.

This is her second year at this preschool and she

was very excited to see her friends and her teachers again.

Her class last year had 12 kids and this year there is 22.

It was quite hectic in there. Poor Paige was so sad to leave

her sister. She got to sit and play with the play doh

while Alex and I took pictures of Emma. When we had to leave

Paige cried for 45 minutes that she missed Emma. So funny since they

fight over toys all day I thought she would love having them

all to herself.

Labor Day Weekend Camping

We went to Mackinac Island,MI over

Labor Day Weekend. We camped near St. Ignace, MI

and took a ferry over to the island. There are no

motorized vehicles allowed on the island. Only bikes

and horse drawn carriages. It was such a cute

little town. They are most famously known for the fudge.

There are 17 fudge shops on the island and the island is only

about 10 miles around total. We certainly got our fill of

fudge.

This is what the town looked like. Very cute!! This is Fort Mackinac where the US fought

the British and lost.

Views from the top of the Fort Everyone gets around the island by walking,

bicycles or horses. We took a carriage ride

around the island. It lasted about 2 hours and

they tell you all about the history of the island.

It does smell like horses though.

This is the Grand Hotel. It is a 5 star hotel.

It is known for the movie "Somewhere in time" starring

Christopher Reeves(AKA Superman) and Jane Seymoure) which

was filmed there. We had to pay $12 just to look inside. After

6 PM formal dress atire is required. Men have to wear coat and tie and women

have to be in a skirt or dress. It costs anywhere between $350-$650 per night

to stay there. Not worth it to me but it was beautiful.

This is a view of the island from the ferry. Now we are back at our camp site and the girls

want to help dad make a fire really bad. Too bad about 5

minutes after the fire got going it started to rain.

It stopped about 20 minutes later and our little fire

survived.
