This year we headed to Arizona for Christmas but the night before we left we celebrated our own little family Christmas at home. We opened our gifts to each other and the kids opened their gifts from us and from Grandpops and Grandma Cheryl.

Mrs. Gann gave each child a HUGE chocolate bar and a certificate for stinky feet (they can take the shoes off in class for the day)

Mrs. Gann read Twas the Night Before Christmas but added a few left and rights to the story and the kids had to pass each present either to the right or left every time they heard one of those words. When the story was over they got to keep the gift they had in their lap.

Each of us got to decorate one of the houses for the village. Dad was in charge of making sure they were all structurally sound. We had a great time. Chase like sneaking the candy to eat when he thought we were not watching.
