Happy 30th Birthday Alex

Alex's 30th Birthday was on Feb. 12th. The girls picked out a Superman cake man for me to make him. We worked on Paige all day to keep it a secret until we got home from going out to dinner. I hid the cake out in the extra fridge in the garage and cleaned the kitchen so good so there would be no evidence. But to no avail, the second Alex walked in the door from work Paige lead him to the garage and said we made a Superman cake for you. I guess from now on we need to keep secrets a secret from Paige too.

Here are few more pictures of Chase. We gave him his first sponge bath today and he was not too thrilled to say the least. He has his days and night confused so we are all pretty tired around here. Hopefully tonight will be a little better.

Welcome Chase Jacob Tetlow

Chase Jacob Tetlow was born on Feb. 1st at 7:38 AM. He weighed 8lbs 3oz and was 18 3/4 inches long (Alex thinks they measured wrong when he watched them since he was kinda bunched up but that is the official number). He is such a good baby except he needs to stop scratching his face. He won't keep the mittens or socks on his hands and just claws at his face. We were relased from the hospital today and are now at home. Yay!! I am pretty sore but very happy to not be pregnant anymore and for him to finally be here. Here are a few pictures of him.

We have been working really hard to get the house put together. I wanted to get a lot of it done before I have the baby next week so we have been staying up late and are pretty tired. It is starting to feel like home to us now. Here are a few pictures of the rooms that are done or at least somewhat done. I am still working on the kitchen, playroom, and the baby's room. Hopefully we will get his room at least painted this weekend and do the crown molding and the waynes coating while Alex is off after I have the baby. I will post more pictures as I get rooms done.

The Tetlow Family Has Moved

We have moved to The Woodlands, Texas which is a suburb of the Houston area. We arrived her on Jan. 1st and our furniture arrived on the 3rd. We have been very busy unpacking and trying to get organized which is hard for me being 35 weeks pregnant. Alex's job transferred us here and we are happy to be in warmer climate again. Although we liked Oshkosh, WI I was not a big fan of the snow. Below is a picture of the house we bought here. We love it. I will post more pictures later when it is not so messy on the inside with boxes everywhere. Just thought I would give a quick update. Our new addition to our family is set to arrive on Feb. 1st. My c-section is scheduled for 7 AM on Feb. 1st. In case you didn't know we are having a little boy and we are planning on naming him Chase. A lot of changes here for the Tetlows.
